    Unfortunately, for various reasons, the name Linux is what finally made 
    it into common language and, though I'd have preferred seeing you win this 
    battle, we can say you've lost it as of today.

Every time someone calls the GNU system "Linux", he is giving the
credit for our work to someone else who started later and did less.
You're not responsible for others who treat us wrong, but you're
responsible for your own actions.  Please treat us right.
