Chiaramente con la alternate non ci sono problemi ad installare Jaunty. Il file che hai letto è il risultato dei tentativi, falliti, di far funzionare X dopo l'installazione. 

Adesso tutto ciò che mi serve è correggere xorg.conf, il sistema di per sé è installato.
