Here is some information for those of you planning to leave DC13 by
public transport.

sbb.ch Website

  Please use http://www.sbb.ch/en/home.html to verify your
  itinerary. The information their is the only authoritative
  information you will get. It includes information about temporary
  schedule changes, which makes it indispensable. Also, you can plan
  trips including boats, busses, and urban transport.

  You can enter "Concise, Camp de Vaumarcus" as departure station,
  and the website will include the bus trip to Yverdon-les-Bains.

Bus to Yverdon-les-Bains

  The bus runs hourly between 08:11 and 00:11.
  ON SUNDAY the bus runs bi-hourly between 08:11 and 00:11, so there
  are *no* busses at 09:11, 11:11, etc.

  The bus leaves from the same place where it arrived.

  Tickets are sold by the driver upon entering (7 CHF to Yverdon).

  Please check the website to make sure that your bus will run,
  especially in the early or late hours, and on the weekend.

Trip to Geneva diverted via Lausanne

  If you are heading in the direction of Geneva, be aware that the
  connection between Neuchâtel and Geneva is closed this weekend.
  You need to go via Lausanne, which makes your connections
  a little shorter and the whole trip a little longer.

  The aforementioned website *knows* and incorporates this into your
  itinerary.

Train reservations

  Swiss people don't reserve seats on Swiss trains. Reservations are
  not mandatory (except for bikes on some trains, see website).
  If you do not have a reservation for a normal train, you can still
  travel, but you might have to stand or sit on the floor.

  The sbb.ch website gives you an indication of popularity of
  a specific train connection, based solely on historic data. If you
  really want a seat, it might make sense to reserve one if the
  popularity is highest for the train you are planning to take. Your
  call.

  Only the TGV requires you to reserve, even if you mount within
  Switzerland.
